WOD with GOD 11.2.13

Do you ever feel weak and weary?  I speak from example of myself that I tend to take on more than I can chew.  We all have the willingness to work.  We work hard at our jobs, at life, inside of the gym but do we ever take time to recharge our own batteries with rest.  We sometimes need to step away from all the clutter in our lives and focus on why we work so hard to begin with.  What are we working for anyway?  God wants us to take a break and get some rest.  He set aside a full day of rest after creation as an example for us to follow.  Jesus understood the needs and limitations of his disciples and took them away for a break.  Work is good, but it must be balanced by regular attention to the health of your body, mind, soul, and spirit.  Whole life comes from holy rest.  Take time to seek rest from God.  Spend time in the word free of distractions.  Take the time to remember who and why we are working so hard for. 

It is useless for you to work so hared from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones.~Psalm 127:2

The creation of the heavens and the earth and everything in them was completed.  On the seventh day, having finished his task, God rested from all his work.  And God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when he rested from his work of creation.~Genesis 2:1-3
