Are there people in your life that are hard to forgive?  When you see someone that wronged you in your past, do you feel the resentment well up inside of you?  Those feelings of resentment can be a heavy weight to carry.  Maybe a situation should arise in your future and someone could really lash out against you.  How do you think as Christians we should react?  The bible says do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.  The reaction that we initially have is to defend ourselves and let them have it.  But, what the Bible says we can overcome evil with good.  That would be a lot more rewarding then feeling bad if we said something we would regret.

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give hime something to drink.  In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”
Romans 12:20
