God has a special place for all of us when we trust in Him. If we are praying and seeking we will find our place in His plan. Even when we don’t realize we are there. Great example of this is the story of Joseph in the Bible. He was treated horribly by his family, sold to Midianites that were going to Egypt. When they got to Egypt, the Midianites sold Joseph in Egypt to Potiphar, one of Pharaoh’s officials, the captain of the guard. Potiphar found favor in Joseph and put him in charge of his household. Potiphar’s wife also found favor in Joseph, and she tried to get him to sleep with her. He refused and she turned it around and claimed he tried to take advantage of her. Potiphar put him in jail and that is when he interpreted dreams for two men in jail which led to him intrepreting dream for the Pharoah. The dream he interpreted for the Pharoah saved Egypt from the famine and earned him second in command. Then he forgave his brothers when they came to him for grain.
The point is that even when we feel like we are being presecuted and wrongly treated by others, if we remain faithful and trust in the Lord we will not fail. Think about Joseph and how he maintained a humble attitude and never seemed to get bitter.
Joseph was thirty years old when he entered the service of Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from Pharaoh’s presence and traveled throughout Egypt. During the seven years of abundance the land produced plentifully. Joseph collected all the food produced in those seven years of abundance in Egypt and stored it in the cities. In each city he put the food grown in the fields surrounding it. Joseph stored up huge quantities of grain, like the sand of the sea; it was so much that he stopped keeping records because it was beyond measure. Genesis 41:46-49
