Nutrition is key to a healthy body. Exercise paired up with a solid nutrition plan is a formula for success. If your diet doesn’t support your workout, you won’t see or feel the benefits of a healthier body. What you put in your body is what you will get out. Just like the type of gas you put in your car. You will get better gas mileage if you put 93 verses 87 octane. The same with what you eat. If you eat junk you feel like junk. If you eat great foods you feel great.
This pertains with what will fill our life with in general. If we surround ourselves with junk, how do you think we will feel or act? As Christians we are to crave the word of God to give us strength. It is just as important as our physical nutrition to feed us spiritually. We will starve spiritually if we don’t feed ourselves with the word of God.
“Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness.”
1 Peter 2:2-3
