You have probably heard someone talk about what they eat if you around CrossFitters much. Is it an obsession? Our goal in CrossFit is to be fit. What is fit? Greg Glassman states this in his article,”What is fit?”
“There is another aspect to the CrossFit brand of fitness that is of great interest and immense value to us. We have observed that
nearly every measurable value of health can be placed on a continuum that ranges from sickness to wellness to fitness.
Though tougher to measure, we would even add mental health to this observation. Depression is clearly mitigated by proper
diet and exercise, i.e.”
Nutrition is key to life and how you perform. Your spiritual nutrition is key to your life and how you perform. Are you starving yourself of the Word of God? Or, are you eating junk and feeling awful. You don’t have stamina or endurance because your faith is weak to withstand the tough times. If we are allowing ourselves to be surrounded by things that are not of the Lord than we shouldn’t be surprised by our inability to carry out tasks in our life. Only by feeding yourself with proper nutrition spiritually and physically will you see success. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4
