Have you ever said or done something you wish you hadn’t?  I think most of us can relate to that.  We all make mistakes and wish we could change the past.  Rather it is something you said or did.  There is not a magic eraser that will take it away. But, there is a Savior who died and shed his blood for your sins. Part of growing in Christ is training your mind, to let go of the past.  Once you make that decision and ask the Lord to come into your life, all your sins are forgiven.  The Lord may lay it on your heart to go tell someone you are sorry for something that happened in your past. When we are humble in obedience there is a great joy.  Joy knowing that you have been obedient and there is a weight lifted off your heart and in your mind.  Obedience is better than sacrifice.  We can never move forward if we keep looking back.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehend:  but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus
Phillipians 3:13-14
