Tuesday 2.7.12

What is the hardest thing, living as a believer or becoming a believer?  In Romans 12:1-2,  Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. ”  Believing in the truth is one thing and actually living in the truth is another.  Are you transformed by renewing your mind in Christ?  By all the pressure in our world it is hard not to be conformed by it.  That is why we have to stay close to God and read his word.  Constantly renewing our mind and living in truth.

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved usRomans 8:37

  1. How true is this. Most people would believe that if you become a Christian it will be a Joel Olsteen life without suffering but coming to Christ carries a cost. The world will reject you as it continually tries to conform you. In all things you must believe in Christ and keep your eyes on him. If you don’t then the waves will overtake you.
