We see plaques in home decor stores that market the words;  faith, hope and love.  Sometimes they are carved in wood that stand up on a book shelf or ledge and add a nice element to your home.  Are they implemented in your life as well?    What do those three words stand for and what do they stand for in our life?  In I Corinthians 13:13, ” And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”  Without love where would we be?  If God did not love us enough to send His son to die for our sins, where would we be?    In the same chapter in I Corinthians it also says,” and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.”  That is pretty powerful.  Where would we be without hope?  Do you feel like our hope gets beat down these days?  Our hope cannot be in anything of this world, but in Christ alone.  God says that He will never leave us or forsake us.  He is our portion.  These three wonderful words, Faith, Hope and Love should be implemented every day in our life.  They work together to give us  life in Christ that can never be taken away.

“Love is patient and kind.  Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude.  It does not demand its own way.  It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.  It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.  Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”
I Corinthians 13:4-7
