Thursday 7.21.11

Since our family has been on the mission of eating clean, when we go out to eat it has become somewhat humorous.  My husband is the waiter/waitress’ worse nightmare.  His main request is no salt, no seasoning.  We recently stopped at a Cracker Barrel on the way home from a trip and the waitress looks at him like he is crazy.  One thing we have found in our diet is that since we have eliminated salt, now when we have it causes us to be thirsty.  After eating Mexican, I could go stick my head in a creek and never quench my thirst.

As Christians we are to be the salt and  create others thirst for the Lord.  Our home, lifestyle and our response to others should reflect our walk with God and the need for Him in our life.  We should make others thirsty for the Living Water, just like after eating salty foods we crave water.

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Revelation 22:17
