Thursday 6.9.11

Today is the end of our Spring Clean Challenge and what a challenge it has been for some of us.  The purpose of our teams is to have some accountability.  It is always nice to have support when you are trying to make a change in life.  CrossFit in general is a life change.  It is not a quick fix to lose a few pounds.  When starting it posed many challenges to myself as I know it has for others.  Overcoming fears and being prepared for the unknown.  Becoming a more  disciplined person has been my biggest challenge.  Self -discipline is a fruit of the Spirit.  We are more efficient in life when we are more disciplined.  God delights in giving us strength to overcome our weaknesses.  We all have an Achilles’ heel, a weakness that’s difficult to overcome.  So rather it is your diet, exercise, etc.. Turn it over to God and believe He can turn our weaknesses into strengths.

But thanks be to God!  He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
