There is no accomplishment that we will ever receive on this earth greater than our salvation. Our gift of salvation was bought with the price of Jesus’s blood. He did nothing wrong ever and was beaten and crucified for our sins so that we could have eternal life. He loves us that much. He will never turn his back on you and He will never leave you. A gift is something we receive. God made it our choice rather we receive the gift of salvation or not but only by Him are we saved.
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost
