Have you ever called someone for advice and got off the phone feeling more confused? When we are learning to live in God’s word the best person for advice is God. He has all the answers in His word. Who do you spend time with the most and how do they affect your perception? Many times we are influenced by their opinions. If they are positive and wise and walking with the Lord, the bible says “iron can sharpen iron”. This means two friends that are solid in the God’s word can sharpen each other and make each other better. Some friends can cause more division in your life and negativity in your life. You can encourage these people but be careful about their counsel and when in doubt about anything just ask your Heavenly Father.
