Most parents that have children that live far away are always excited when they come and visit. They have the house cleaned, food prepared, all the preparations for their homecoming. God is the same way about us. He awaits us to come home. In John 14:2,” In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” Because of what Jesus did on the cross, death is defeated. For believers,when it is our time to leave this world and go home, we will live eternally with our heavenly father. With this knowledge we should live courageously without fear and know that the end is only the beginning!
