Have you ever heard the song, “Beulah Land”? The lyrics start at,
“I’m kinda homesick for a country, to where I’ve never been before.
No sad goodbyes will be spoken, because time won’t matter anymore.”
I think about that song when life gets hard. We are not meant to be on this earth forever. We are to long for our home in heaven. God has prepared us a home. There will be no time, no tears, no pain. Just rejoicing the Lord! From the moment we are born, there are no guarantees in life. The only one is our salvation and that we choose to ask the Lord to come into our life. Salvation is a gift. Christ became sin and died on the cross for us. Can you think of a better gift than that?
“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”
