Monday 2.11.13

Then Moses went out and spoke these words to all Israel: “I am now a hundred and twenty years old and I am no longer able to lead you.”  Joshua would lead the Israelites to the Promise Land.  Moses and Joshua both commanded them to be strong and courageous.  They were the people of God’s promise.  Through their strength and courage many events unfolded leading to the blood line of Jesus Christ.  God had a plan and all they had to do is trust.  So be strong and courageous in a time where we feel like we don’t what the outcome is going to be but we have a Saviour who shed his blood for our sins.  No matter what happens today, his promise never changes.  He will never leave us even when we feel alone.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6
