Friday 9.21.12

Teams of 2 complete the following for time:

800 M Run (MMS)
100 Push Ups
1000 M Row
300 Double Unders
800 M Run (MMS)
Hand Walk 500 feet (rotate every 50 feet)

Each partner will each perform the run and row together.  Movements will completed as a team, one person working while the other is resting until all reps have been completed.

Meet Chad Jones, a former New York Giant and star athlete from LSU whose promising professional career was put on hold by a tragic car accident before it even had a chance to begin.

The film details Chad’s incredible will and determination while rehabbing and trying to recover from the horrific accident that nearly cost him his life. It also provides an unflinching view of an elite athlete facing unimaginable tragedy and refusing to submit.

The body will go where the mental fortitude takes it.

  1. Thanks for all the Bday wishes! A good friend of mine was going out to run when his grandson asked him why. He told
    the boy,” to exercise.” His 5 year old grandson looked up at him and asked “grandpaw, are you trying to get skinny one more
    time before you die?” So…along with getting to work out with some great people, I guess that is why I Crossfit.
