Some of you may have seen the movie or read the book, “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.” The book was written by C.S. Lewis who was an atheist and became a Christian. Aslan, the lion is a representation of Christ. There are a lot of parallels to what happens in the movie to events that you read in the Bible. I love how Aslan is portrayed in the movie, strong, fierce, loving and powerful.
God is described in the Bible as the Lion of Judah, a fierce fighter on behalf of his people. He is the God who created all things. He has fought those who oppose him. Flooded the earth, blinded whole armies, and rained burning sulfur from the sky. But God uses the same power to come to the aid of his people who declare their faith and loyalty in him. God has the power to help you when you are under attack from the enemy. He loves you and He will fight for you.
They shall walk after the Lord: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west. Hosea 11:10
