What is CrossFit?

Within the realm of CrossFit, you are only as fit as you are competent in each of these 10 general fitness domains: cardiorespiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, accuracy, agility, and balance. In order for CrossFit Murphy to accomplish this goal of producing a athlete that is competent in all of these domains, we we utilize contantly varied, functional movements, that are done a high intensity. CrossFit Murphy’s athletes will perform task such as lifting weights, flipping tires, jumping on plyometric boxes, utilizing kettlebells, throwing medicine balls, running, rowing, climbing ropes, muscle ups, various gymnastic movements, and many other skills that daily life will demand of you. Every CrossFit Murphy workout will challenge the most elite athlete or will be scaled to meet the needs of the absolute beginner to CrossFit. Workout sessions usually last from 10 to 30 minutes and are guided by a certified CrossFit Trainer.
